BIO:
The 1984 University of Southwestern Louisiana graduate received his medical degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He was very active at both USL and LSUMC, serving at various levels in the Student Government Association, the Blue Key National Honor Fraternity and Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity.

Dr. Thibodeaux received his postgraduate education at Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans in the department of obstetrics and gynecology. While there he served as Chief Administrative Resident and received the student teaching award. He is currently board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

​

Current memberships include the Louisiana State Medical Society, Lafayette Parish Medical Society, and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. Dr. Thibodeaux is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

 

Some of the services offered by Dr. Thibodeaux include low risk and high risk obstetrics, office ultrasonography, general gynecology, including infertility, contraception, urinary incontinence, menopause, hormone replacement therapy and hysterosonography. He also performs various surgical procedures such as laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, and laser surgery, tubal reversal, exploratory surgery and hysterectomy, as well as incontinence procedures, to name a few.

 

A native of Opelousas, Dr. Thibodeaux and his wife, Shawn, have two children, Lexie and Ash. He has been with Hamilton Medical Group since 1997.
